Our Hood QuickLIFT System include Quick-release end-fittings on the gas struts for the Jeep models. This allows the user to easily remove the strut from the lower attachment and then place the hood all the way back onto the wind-shield.

Our Jeep Wrangler hood QuickLIFT PLUS system is designed to fit Jeep JK models: 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017. This system is our PLUS system which includes all-black mounting hardware and black e-coated gas springs with progressive slow-release.
This system has been tested to work with Genesis dual battery setup.
This system will NOT work with the AEV Hoods (please search 21-20005 for AEV specific Hood QuickLIFT System).

✔ QuickLIFT PLUS (ALL BLACK SYSTEM) - All of our installation hardware is designed to last and we spare no expense on the details. First, we zinc plate all steel-mounting hardware, then each bracket is also black powder coated for the ultimate in corrosion protection. QuickLIFT PLUS includes black gas springs. There is a four-year warranty on all QuickLIFT PLUS components.
✔ BLACK GAS SPRINGS - The gas springs used in this application each have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application. Gas strut orientation is always body end up (large tube attaching to hood bracket) and extending rod attaches to lower ball stud.
✔ PROGRESSIVE-RATE GAS SPRINGS - Redline Tuning gas springs are not off-the-shelf parts, they are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications for each vehicle application. Our exclusive end-of-stroke dampening slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel eliminating stress to the hood.
✔ QUICK-RELEASE ENDS - Both lower strut attachments include a quick-release mechanism that allows the hood to be released from the gas struts. This allows the user to easily remove the gas strut from the lower attachment and rest hood on the windshield of your Jeep as if the struts were not installed. Simply snap them back on to utilize your Hood QuickLIFT System.
